Half-term  fun

This is probably one of the best self-catered chalets, if not the best, we've ever stayed in.
The view from the balcony was stunning. The location was ideal as everything (creche, ski school, bars and bubble lifts) were within easy walking distance. The village itself had everything you needed and the fact it was 'no cars' meant it was great for the children.
All in all it was a fantastic holiday and we would thoroughly recommend the chalet and the resort. Can't wait to come back again!

Text ( by Russell Townsend, chalet guest)

We had a great time:  Wonderful Chalet !
I think we had every weather - rain, fog, heavy snow, clear skies, fresh powder, ice, death cookies - which made it great fun!
Really enjoyed Montfrais area and la Fare down to Vaujany where the conditions were perfect and the slopes were empty.
La Sarenne was also fun - it took a while, being covered with giant moguls from top to bottom. (We found huge queues at the Pic Blanc lift, so we skied on round to Marmottes II, Marmottes III and Glacier, where there was no queue.)
We spent a day in the Alpe d'Huez snowpark where yet again, it was empty!
The pistes around Auris were also super (and empty !)
We visited Villard Reculas during a whiteout in which we couldn't even see our own skis. The lift operators were so surprised to see anyone that they had stopped the lift, but naturally they re-started it when we turned up.
